How do you price something that does not exist yet?
In two steps. First a small, bounded phase where the process is documented and a written plan produced — that is priced fixed, and the deliverable is yours even if you stop there. Then the build is priced against something concrete rather than against a description.
Are we too small for this?
Size is not the criterion; repetition is. A three-person business doing the same job twenty times a day has more to gain than a thirty-person one doing it once a month.
What if I change my mind halfway?
That is why we deliver in pieces. At the end of each piece there is something working and a decision: carry on, change direction, or stop. You will never be six months in with nothing running.
